However, the bacon apple pie (with almost a full pound of bacon in it) and the Ghirardelli dark chocolate bacon brownies (with their six slices of thick-cut bacon) surely made up for it! And a fantastic time was had by all! Already contemplating my contributions for next year... Well, only two of the desserts had bacon :)
