Hope you are all having (or had, depending on when you read this) a very happy Halloween. My husband and I went to a party this afternoon. I went as the costume czar, since I was judging a costume contest. I just took a piece of fabric, sewed it into a sash and wrote costume czar in marker on it.
My husband went as a modern politician. We printed out logos for a bunch of companies that received bail out money and how are big campaign contributors. We then taped them to an old sports coat. It looked like a Nascar jacket. Very amusing. I forgot to take pictures. I know I’m bad.
What was your costume this year? How about your spouse or kids? I’m always looking for creative ideas.

My costume turned out to be “Tired but Happy Party Hostess”. Matt’s is a surprise until after tomorrow. It’s a pun, and our guests have to guess what it is. I’ll have a cute pic soon.
My favorite idea was my ex-husbands. He wore a crew cut anyway so he shaved his head one year, glued cotton balls to his eyebrows and went to a party as Mr. Clean. That left the door wide open for me to go as a Happy Housewife. Frugal as well as a fine piece of acting:-)
